Schism!

.. what do you think guys, this event will be readable for someone new,

in the x- titles i m not sure because i started being a Dc reader

but just finished the Morrison run in New x-men and it was great,

and since i saw that Quentin quire is taking some attention i am kind of interesting in the schism stuff

and what would you recommend to continue after new x-men

-Astonishing x-men
- Uncany x-men
or new x-men/x-men/legacy

I know JT is going to start reading the X-books during Schism too, Alien, I've been reading them for years now, so I'd be happy to help out in any way when it comes to characters and stuff like that during the Schism event.

I LOVED Morrison's New X-Men work! Honestly, the X-books after Morrison left got a lot worse... I could recommend a few storylines I enjoyed, but if I were you, I'd wait until after Schism ends and then start reading one of the two new X-Men books Marvel is going to release. Those books should tie into Schism nicely, and if you managed to follow Schism, those two new series should be a great place to start reading.

..ok and i gonna ask, is there some history about Quentin Quire After morrison? and it is good?

Ugh, the stuff with Quintin after Morrison really wasn't that good... He shows up in the Phoenix Warsong mini-series after he is woken up by the Phoenix Force. He tries to bring Sophie(the dead Stepford Cuckoo) back to life, but fails, and winds up going quietly back to the state he was in at the end of New X-Men.

After that, he wakes up in a Nation X story and decides he wants to be a super-villain and tries to destroy Utopia, but is stopped by Martha(the brain in the jar). Hopefully he gets written as awesomely as he was during New X-Men during Schism!

yeah the thing with Quintin is that Morrison give him so beautiful and dramatic ending that is difficult to me seing him again without compare.

but has a lot of potential to do good histories hope they do it

Totally agreed, Alien. Quintin's story ended so perfectly. That's probably why it bothers me when I see other writers do a bad job with him... Hopefully he becomes a real force in Schism though!
