"We wanted to create a Robin that players would identify as a contemporary character and move away from the traditional “Boy Wonder” image that most people know. Our vision of Robin is the one of a troubled young individual that is calm and introverted at times but very dangerous and aggressive if provoked. The shaved head is inspired by cage fighters, because we thought that Robin might be doing that in his spare time to keep him on his toes. Still, we kept all the classic trademarks of Robin’s appearance, such as the red and yellow colors of his outfit, the cape and the mask. We really hope that people will discover our Robin as one of their new favorite characters in the Batman universe. He is back and he means business." KAN MUTFIC, JULY 2011

I was actually gonna post the link talking about this, but as usual, you beat me to it, JT! That explanation of Robin is one of the dumbest things I've ever heard... "The shaved head is inspired by cage fighters..." WTF!? Jeez, talk about a stereotypical view of "cage fighters"... And what the hell do they mean by "cage fighter" anyway? I sure hope they don't mean an MMA fighter, because that would REALLY piss me off! And isn't this Robin supposed to be Tim anyway? That sounds more like a mixture of Jason and Damian. Ugh... I'm still excited at the prospect of playing as Robin, but damn, that sounds horrible.

Yeah, luckily the Red Robin skin should fix this but it sounds like they just wanted an older Damian more than anything....

"it sounds like they just wanted an older Damian more than anything...." Yes! Exactly!! I guess they couldn't have Damian in the game 'cause he'd be too young and you can't have a 10 yr old beaten to death and keep a "T" rating, but look and description-wise? That is totally Damian.

Lol @ a Ten year old being beaten to death. But yeah, that's clearly some type of Damian Drake hybrid.

"Lol @ a Ten year old being beaten to death." That's got to be it though, right? I've been wracking my brains trying to think of a game that starred a pre-teen character who fights and could be killed, but I can't... Hell, even in an "M" rated game like Fallout, you can't shoot kids. There must be a rule somewhere.

HA! Paperboy! No, you could just get run over, not beaten to death! Are you sure Alien? I don't remember there being kids/younger teens on the streets in those GTA games... I could be wrong, but I always remember the citizens of the cities being older...
