So with E3 gone and all the information of game releases are out, I've come to realize, from September to the end of the year I will be purchasing quite a few games. So for you fellow gamers, any games you'll be looking forward to getting? I'll be getting these: - Arkahm City
- Modern Warfare 3
- Dance Central 2
- Sims 3: Pets
- Need for Speed: The Run
- WWE 12'
I'm okay with the fact that these games are going to run me about $400. Someone is going to get me some of these for Christmas lol.

Let's see, I'm getting Arkham City, MW3, WWE 12, Uncharted 3 and... I feel like there may be more. Maybe the new Dragon Ball Z game when I see more info on it.

Definitely Arkham City. And almost definitely X-Men: Destiny, which I should probably start a thread for...

Still interested in that DBZ game eh? I'm hoping the more info released it'll give you a more definite answer on whether or not you wanna get it.
And X, I saw that X-Men: Destiny was coming out, I didn't look into it but just the title itself has me a little interested. What's the game all about?!

I am vaguely interested in that Destiny game, basically you become a mutant character and get to pick powers them make choices, kinda like X-Men meets Fable, si?

Hm...well you know how much I liked Fable, and you know how much I like making my own characters (Sims) I think I'll look into it more.

That X-Men game sounded WAY better when it was first announced, I had visions of creating my own obscure X-character(X-Man!!!) and kicking ass and such, but now it looks like you'll be forced to play as one of three generic newbie mutants and build your powers up from there. It's still early, and the guy who wrote the article I read hadn't gotten the chance to play the game, just watch a demo played by the developer. But yeah, if you have to play as some generic lame-o, I don't see the appeal of the game, but maybe it'll sound better as we get closer.

Yeah, X-Men: Destiny is sounding pretty much awful to me these days, and the latest trailer made it look pretty bad. Like X said, you don't even get to play as one of the X-Men...you play as some generic new mutant. And you customize their powers as you go along, which goes against the whole concept of being a mutant -- the point is that you don't get to choose what powers you end up having (or even whether you're a mutant at all).

Yeah, when it was originally talked about, it sounded like you could totally customize your guy, so I figures, "Sweet, I'll make a telepath with TK and boom, I'll have Nate." But now it's, "Sure you can create your own character, but you have to pick one of these skins, and you can't do this, or this, or this, or this....."

So X do you have interest in any other the other games me and Lisha mentioned? Like WWE 12?

Hmm... I'd love to get Uncharted 3, but having never played the first two, I doubt that'll happen. WWE is almost a definite, but that always depends on the CAW/stat stuff. If you can make as many CAWs as the last game, and do what ever you want with the stats, then it's a definite yes. If not, I'd probably stick with this year's version.
I'm pretty much done with InFamous 2, I have like 80+% of the trophies, and I've beaten the game twice, I'll probably beat it one more time on hard and then I'll have done everything I could with that one. I've been playing more LBP lately, and I've got to say, that game is WAY harder than I'd have expected! Seriously! The world in Mexico, with the fires and stuff? Brutal!!! Most likely, I'd think by the end of next week, there's a really good chance I'll be on the look out for a new game. If I can find Marvel vs Capcom 3 cheap somewhere, I'll get that, if not, I'll be dling Mass Effect 2.

You should definitely look into getting Uncharted 1 if you find it for cheap, you'd probably like it. Funny you mentioned LBP since Lisha bought LBP2 today and we started playing it online, and yeah, that game has a lot more difficulty then you'd expect. The fun part is going online and searching for Batman, Spider-Man, and other things type levels. We played an awesome Batman level.
I'l definitely keep ya updated on WWE, and I just got my Xbox back from my cousin yesterday and started ME2 again today, I have three saves, one good where I made some choices spur of the moment, a evil based one, and a good one with totally good choices that I started today, and man, that game rules.

Yeah, that's probably a good idea. I know Playstation has Uncharted 1(and possibly 2) as a part of their greatest hits collection, meaning they should be cheap! I'm probably going to go to Walmart sometime next week to pick up some crates for those comics of mine, so I'll see if I can find it there. Dude, I know! I started playing LBP and was like, "Ah, this is a kids game, it should be a piece of cake for a video game GOD like myself!" but man is it tough! I haven't even checked out any of the created levels as per my fear of playing games online but so for the story mode is kicking my ass! Cool. When WWE gets closer you should start up a thread about it. You know, to keep me updated and stuff! ;D And if all else fails, I'll almost definitely be playing ME2 by next weekend.

You should definitely get LBP2 in the near future. I looked and saw about 4 million levels created and that shows the endless fun you can have on that game. I may even create a level myself this time. Lol.
