I tried the New 52 arrow and this was a totally disaster, I hated that New Ollie to Young to naive and with so little space for all that great supporting cast he had before the reboot so I drop it, then I tried again when Ann Nocenti took over and it was even worst
(and anybody who has read Nocenti's Catwoman would know how a great "writer" she is jjjm jjjjm SARCASM jjm jjm).. so I drop it again... But NOW I think I'm IN..

Yeah, JT told me how HORRIBLE Nocenti was writing Catwoman. I think he said he ended up dropping the book after only an issue or two. She sounds like a brutal writer. As for Ollie? I don't think anything can really get me excited about that character anymore, outside of something insanely drastic like introducing Conner. Even with a quality writer like Lemire taking over, I'll still skip that series.

Yep... one issue. And I'm pissed because Judd was supposed to take Green Arrow before he left DC... and I'm always up for some Judd Winnick comics. I may read this, I could see Lisha picking it up now with Lemire at the helm, maybe I'll check i out, but like X said, I was kinda getting bored of the old Ollie... the newer one is like a wanna be Hawkeye so I'm even less interested.

I don't know why DC would want to change Ollie into Hawkeye-lite... Why not go in a different direction(like, oh, I don't know, CONNER HAWKE?!)? Especially since Hawkeye is probably enjoying his greatest popularity ever due to being in the Avengers movie.
