Wait, but didn't Deadpool get decapitated in that movie?! That's a pretty big thing to brush off! I guess they could go the comedy route,
"Hey Wade, didn't your head fall off and a silo collapse on you?" "I got better!"
I'm not sure how that would play in the movies though... Deadpool fanboys would probably be cool with it, but people not that familiar with Pool might be a bit put off by that explanation(or lack of explanation!).

Yeah but if you watch the entire movie credits, at the end his body finds his head. And if I recall, he rips out the stitches too. Plus, you know if Deadpool's head goes back on he won't die.

Ah, nice catch, JT. I totally missed that, probably because I watched that movie over several days over several different sittings... Whenever it would pop up on HBO, I'd catch a little bit more of the movie until I'd seen almost the entire thing! So Wade's headless body walked over to his head, on it's own power?!? That's... huh.

If I recall correctly, his head was lying in the rubble of that building he brought down with his Optic Blasts, and his hand reached outta the rubble and grabbed his head.

Well, I'll take your word for it. Now I really want to try to catch that somewhere!

Thank ya thank ya. You're far too kind. Apparently theres two after credit scenes depending on the version you watch. The deadpool one and one with wolverine drinking in japan or something to set up the next movie.

Yeah, they made a big thing about there being one of two possible post-credits sequences. It was just some gimmick to try and get people to see the movie more than once, mostly. When I saw it in the theater, it had the Deadpool scene at the end.

Huh, I don't think I've ever heard of anything like that before...

I thought I heard that there were 4 different end scenes, two dealing with Deadpool, 1 with Wolverine, and 1 with Sabertooth. IDK, this was several years ago.
