So Cullen Bunn wrote this issue. And it had Spidey teaming with Devil Dinosaur and Moon-Boy... To say that is a recipe for utter disaster is an understatement. Spidey fought fire-breathing dinosaurs with Moon-Boy and Devil Dinosaur in the Savage Land. And just to prolong my torment, this story is to be continued... Yeah, this one sucked. Score: 4 out of 10.

I won't be getting the next issue of this, or any more if Cullen continues, hell I may just drop all the books he writes because after Deadpool Kills the Marvel U's ending, a horrible first Venom storyline and now this, I am rapidly losing faith in him.

I actually somehow liked it. Don't ask me how, because I pretty much know that anything with his name on it is bound to suck, but, somehow, I just totally bought it. Maybe it's because I'm waiting for the doom and gloom that Slott is bringing, so I was just happy to see something fun-ish!

Honestly, I can understand how you could enjoy this issue, JW. I've never liked Devil Dinosaur or Moon-Boy, nor have I ever been a fan of the Savage Land concept, plus I've been down on Bunn's work as of late, so I was almost assured to dislike this issue! This one was def not my cup of tea. I'll still get the next issue because... um... huh, I have no excuse...  |
