This issue concluded the Hobgoblins story, which pretty much clears the way to Spidey #700! Needless to say, I am REALLY looking forward to that issue. The revelation that Norman Osborn has escaped from his hospital bed is especially intriguing to me... I has assumed Doc Ock would be the key villain in #700, but now, with the Green Goblin loose? Who knows... Scorewise I gave this one a 7 1/2 out of 10. I'll have a full review for this one posted at the blog on 11/16.

Yeah, I was shocked to see Norman escaped... my thing is this, with the recent popping up, a new look, and the fact it says Spidey and MJ back together, do you think this Superior Spider-Man may be Harry?

Nice, JT! Nice, nice catch! It DOES seem like Harry could be the new Spidey(that would clear up the MJ/Spidey thing). That would fit, and would explain Norman resurfacing, because if Norman does something that makes Peter vanish/die, Harry would make the most sense to take up the Spidey mantle and go against Norman. But then, the question is, what becomes of Peter? I mean, let's face it, he's not going to die. If he does, we'll all roll our eyes and say, "Okay, so how long til he's back?" I still say it'll be Peter(under a new name, with an altered look), but I can't wait to see how Dan Slott writes this one.

Good question, maybe Pete loses his powers or something? I mean I know that's happened a lot bu it has to be something to take him out of the suit but keep him in the book, if he loses his powers and Harry becomes Spidey, he could be Harry's tech guy, thus playing the role everyone already thinks he does anyway... Needless to say I'm extremely excited to see how Slott plays this.

Yeah, for all the crap I heap on Final Crisis and Grant Morrison, the smartest thing he did was come right out and say, "Batman's NOT DEAD!!!" because really, who would have expected BATMAN to die? And stay dead? He's DC's #1 character by far. With Spidey, I'd say he's got to be Marvel's #1 character, so they can't really kill him off. I actually like the idea that he's somehow depowered(maybe Osborn manages to take those Spider-jammers a step further?) and just serves as a tech guy. That way he's still there, and like you said, can fill the role everybody in the world thinks he does already. Plus, with Peter still around, it's not like people will be asking when he'll be coming back(although I guess the question would be when is he getting back in the suit).
