Kind of curious about people's opinion about this. I am not a long-time Avengers reader so I am curious if people's responses are "Finally!" or "What a cop-out!"

As a long time Avengers fan I liked this issue. But I also hate Wasp, so I was a bit torn here... I thought the dialogue was actually funny and didn't overwhelm the comic pages(as Bendis tends to do, often!), but Wasp? I hate that they're just gonna bring her back so she can be around for the Marvel Now! stuff(and the Ant Man movie I'd guess). Like 500 Avengers aren't enough? We need 501? I'm definitely willing to see where Bendis is going, but the big reveal left me feeling meh. I'd give this comic a 7 1/2 which is better than usual.

Is it just me or does it seem like Marvel is trying to put back all the changes they have done the last few years in anticipation for Marvel Now? Just this week we have Wasp coming back, that whole evil Banner/Hulk thing working itself out, Deadpool getting his powers/deformities back, and Evil Loki almost returning. I never thought about it but it may have to do with the movies and the characters in them not resembling their modern counterparts.
Sadly, they won't do the same for the X-men and have Jean Grey return (except in teenage form).

Agreed 100%. Marvel is definitely taking a lot of things back to the status quo with the Marvel Now! reboot. Some things(like Spidey) definitely look a bit different, but overall it looks like Marvel is trying to get their comic universe looking as close to their movie universe as possible. Except for Jean. But I figure that's simply Marvel's way of tormenting me personally.
