Fantastic end for the Ed Brubaker era of Captain America(the greatest comic book run by any writer ever). It was pretty much an origin-type story with Cap(Steve Rogers) talking about himself and all of the other men who tried to take up the Captain America mantle to William Burnside, the crazy Cap from the 1950's, who had been hospitalized after getting smashed by a truck. Steve talks about the importance of the symbol that is Cap, and tells William that he doesn't have to worry about being Cap anymore, since Steve would keep up the mantle for as long as he could. I probably shouldn't give this issue a 10, but come on, it was Brubaker's last Cap issue, and it WAS pretty good. So for a score, yeah, 10 out of 10. After the comic, Brubaker pens a good-bye letter, in which he talks about how much of a fan he was of Bucky, which explains why he brought Bucky back. The afterword was a pretty interesting read in itself.
