When I heard that whit Amazing Spider Man they were rebooting the franchise my firts reaction was "WTF" Why would they do that to a succesfull formula, but then I rewatched Spider Man 1 and 3 and my thoughts changed a litle, and then I saw Amazing Spider Man I loved it...

I still haven't seen Amazing Spider-Man(big surprise!), but I did see the other three Spidey movies. I hated 3, but liked 1 & 2. I'd give the edge to 1, just because the guy who played the Green Goblin was awesome.

If I had to pick from the pre- Amazing SM I think my favorite would be Spider Man 2 just for that amazing fight over the train.. But if the first two movies Had great villains, what I liked of Amazing was Peter Parker portrayal this guy was angry, he was still a nerd and and outcast, but he wanted to return the punch when flash beat him... and the other thing I liked was the Jokes this version of pete made Jokes while fighting givin some precious moments in the movie

I can't argue with picking 2 as your second favorite Spidey movie, Alien. I almost picked 2 as my favorite! 1 and 2 were both REALLY good, while 3 was kind of lacking. For me anyway. One of these days I'll watch Amazing Spider-Man. Especially after reading how much you liked it.

Speaking of ASM, Rumor has it the villain in the next movie will be Electro, played by none other than Jamie Foxx. Thoughts?

Well there's an unusual choice for Electro, is my first thought. But then again, Electro isn't exactly a big name, so why not?

I only have seen Jamie Foxx in the Ray Charles movie and really like him.. But superhero movies is not exactly the same stile... But he would be in the Next Tarantino's movie so can make an idea before the next ASM movie...
